Just BEET It!

I know, I know! I am not a huge fan of canned vegetables or fruit. There are some exceptions to the rule of course. I have continuously shared my love for 100% pure canned pumpkin and now I want to do the same for BEETS! Besides being a blood purifier, cancer fighter and mega source of nutrients (vitamin A and C, sodium, magnesium, calcium, iron, phosphorous, niacin and folic acid) they taste great, are low in calories and fat, inexpensive, provide fiber as well as being an energy source given they are a carbohydrate. Next time you’re out, pick up some whole or sliced BEETS without the sodium and don’t forget to drink the juice! I just ate an entire can. Does that make me weird?
